It is curious how much time you have to pretend to understand or something you are interested. Everyday conversations, news, economic forecasts, the books. Even the media full of 'junk mediatica', which in my opinion are not trash, but reflections of who we are and leaks valid and valuable in a world that, well, do not understand very well, like sitcoms, the lyrics of songs and film. If I had the courage to actually say 'this is that I have not understood anything, has been a crap' or 'But what a waste of time, if my I do not care', my life would be much more efficient and honest, but the reality is that when you make such statements is quickly dismissed as ignorant, commoner and worse.
(And no por this means that things that I understand and I am interested that are universal. The interesting thing is we all lose interest and confuse different things, and we have to keep quiet and get attention to each other even worth our mother, because if not, who would listen to us then?)
This is my relationship with art. Actually my art bores me 99% of the time. I do not understand, I do not care, do not feel any kind of spiritual experience to behold. My main approach to this has been through friends and teachers who have stopped to get interested in life, this was done, and then his work interests me just as I care about the courtship of my friends because I care they and not the subject to discuss, and porque through the object is known best friend.
